BBF is a social welfare fund to accord members and their immediate family decent burials upon demise.
The member contribute Kshs.500 monthly.A member is required to specify his/her next of Kin( ie.the beneficiaries) prior
- Entitlement
- Self-Ksh 45,000
- Spouse-Ksh 45,000
- Own Children-Kshs,30,000 (upto a max of 6)
- Own parent -Ksh 30,000
- A copy of death certificate or notification (certified by and area chief or an advocate) or burial permit.
- Birth Notification form or Birth certificate ( for all claims-own child)
- Copies of identification card.
Loan Department
- A fully completed loan application form
- Attached original three most recent payslip
- A copy of your identity card
- Guarantors should be active member’s of the Sacco and have contributed atleast six months with the Sacco.
- One must have been an active member atleast six consecutive months.
Yes indeed. Loans granted by the society must be fully guaranteed by member’s of the society. Guarantors and applicant shares must be equal to or more than the loan applied for.
The security needed in the form of Guarantors who should be member’s of the Sacco. Another form of security includes regular remittance of your monthly contribution.
No interest or penalty is charged for clearing a loan earlier than the contracted period
The society offers different loan types depending on your need. One may borrow in a range of 3 times his/her savings depending on her needs and subject to a third take home rule.
To qualify for a loan ,you have to:
- Be a registered Ng’ara Maisha Sacco Ltd member.
- Contributed regularly for atleast 6 months .
- Have Guarantors who are active members of the Sacco
